<研究ノート> 道孚语的使用情况和语言活力 : 鲜水镇道孚语的个案研究

Abstract

This paper reports the actual linguistic situation of sTau, spoken in Daofu County located inside of the Ethnic Corridor of West Sichuan, based on the present authors' sociolinguistic researches (with the questionnaire and the observation of the language use) conducted in Xianshui town, the centre of Daofu County. And it analyses the language vitality of sTau as well as the characteristics of the situation of being endangered and its perspective of the change through the comparison of actual different conditions about the endangered features which have already appeared. Especially remarkable points are the number of speakers, the sphere of the languages in use, and the social necessity of sTau. The present research demonstrates a decline of this language.
