防災問題における資料解析研究(24)

Abstract

巨大災害研究センターでは, デ一夕ベーズ"SAIGAI"の構築と保守点検を行っている.現在, 約60, 000件の入力を終えた段階で, 本データベースがさらに広く使われるように改善策を提案した.それは, このデータベースが科学研究費で構築されてきたことから, それを災害研究者のみならず一般に公開することが当然であるからである.そこで, 本報告では現状の問題点を整理し, それを踏まえて, 新しい体制で平成9年度から供用を開始する計画を紹介する.

Database "SAIGAI" has been constructed at Research Center for Disaster Reduction Systems in collaboration with other five Data Processing Centers attached at Hokaido University, Tohoku University, Saitama University, Nagoya University and Kyushu University. About 60, 000 documents are compiled in the database and anyone who can use N-1 Network around national universities in our country. This system, however, is exclusive for other users who are government officers, journalists and volunteers. In this paper, we checked some problems about handling of the databease and recording the disaster-related data. We already started to change the systems of database utility and in 1998 new systems will be proposed to all users with free charge.
