防災問題における資料解析研究(25)

Abstract

巨大災害研究センターでは, 防災研究所の全国共同利用研究所への改組に伴い, 共同研究事業を積極的に実施してきた。これは, 防災に関する研究成果のアカウンタビリティを一段と大きくすることを目的としている。そこで, 本報告ではこれらの試みの概要を示すとともに, 計算機システムのバージョンアップに時期を合わせて, 文献資料情報データベース"SAIGAI"をWWWで公開したので, その経緯を紹介する。

The objectives of this paper are to show the activities of the Research Center for Disaster Reduction Systems in 1997. They include the construction of database "SAIGAI" and some approaches to contribute to disaster loss reduction. Memorial Conference in Kobe has been held to exchange and have disaster lessons in the Hanshin-Awaji earthquake disaster. Establishment of Research Association for Toukai, Tou-Nankai and Nankai Earthquake Tsunami focus on some problems in accompany with next these earthquake tsunami disasters. Seminar for Disaster Loss Reduction is opened to train local government officers in the disaster prevention section. Other activities such as committee members of disaster planning and disaster loss estimation in central and local government level and promotion of some symposiums and forums will also contribute to improve our research accountability.
