Abstract: | This paper describes time expressions of the Ngbaka Minagende who live in the center of Ubangi district, at the Northwestern corner of Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) This people, whose population is estimated about 1, 000, 000, is the largest among the Ubangi group in that part os the country. The Ngbaka Minagende language is classed in the Gbaya sivision, Ubangi subgroup, Adamawa-Ubangi Group. The analysis shows that the Ngbaka design time in reference to atmospheric conditions and to human activities accomplushed during this moment or to the results of activities. |
