骨盤腎の2例

Abstract

The first case is that of a 35 yrs old female, who complained of frequency of urine. Physical examination ; A fist-sized immovable tumor with a smooth surface was palpated in the lower abdomen. Diagnosis of ectopic pelvic kidney of the right side with a branched calculus was made from the plain-film and retrograde pyelography in the major pelvic cavity. The second case is that of a 20 yrs old female, who complained of frequency of urine and lumbago of the left side. Physical examination ; A small fist-sized, immovable slightly painful tumor was palpated in the left lower abdomen. Ectopic pelvic kidney was indicated by the retrograde pyelography. Nephrectomy was performed on both cases and the results of treatment were quite satisfactory. Forty-two cases of ectopic pelvic kidney, including our two cases, have been reported in our country, but no case with branched calculus has been hitherto reported.
