尿管結石症に対するCirculetinの使用

Abstract

Circuletin - a preparation of circulatory hormon e that is extracted from pancreatic tissue - was used to facilitate the passage of the ureteral calculi. In our series of 23 cases, the stones of 17 cases (74%) passed spontaneously, in two cases operation had to be performed and in four cases no result was obtained. In successful cases, 60 per cent of the stones passed spontaneously within two weeks. In several cases the excretory urogram revealed little or no progress in the descent of the calculi and a progressively enlarging hydronephrosis or delayed renal function. In such impacted calculi the passage of stones occured within a period of two or three weeks after the beginning of treatment. And then the benefical effect of the drug in lessning or abolishing pain
