dc.description.abstractA 50-year-old collieer was admitted to the orthopedic serv i c e of our hospital with the chief complaint of slowly increasing severe neuralgic pain of the right leg for about 7 months, in February, 1961. Never had there been urinary symptoms. About 2 months later, he was admitted to our service b e cause of marked hematuria and metastatic cutaneous tumors (adenocarcinoma). Urological examinations indicated right renal cancer, but the patient died of cachexy one month after admission. The diagnosis at autopsy was retrovesical abenoca r c inoma which appeared to have arised from the right seminal vesicle with metastatic tumors. Such case is extremely rare and never has been reported in Japan.en
