| 抄録: | TTC test was performed in 44 urine samples chiefly taken from out-patients with urinary tract infections. The results were as follws. 1) Out of 18 cases in which more than 100, 000 bacterial counts per ml of urine was recognized, the test showed positive results in 16 cases (89 %) and negative results in 2 (11 %). Of these cases, E. coli was isolated in 15, Proteus mirabilis in 1, Streptococcus faecalis in 1, Paracolon "Providence" in 1. The test was negative in each one case of E. coli and Paracolon "Providence" containing urine sample. 2) All of 26 cases in which bacterial counts per ml of urine were less than 100, 000 gave negative result. 3) These ex periments confirmed that TTC test was a easily performable and a fairly accurate method for quantitative bacterial count of urine specimen. |
