| dc.description.abstract | The effect of oral administration of Mesterolone, at the dosage of 30 mg a day, was evaluated concerning seminal fluid findings, liver functions and serum proteins in 20 patients with oligo- and azospermia, who visited the Department of Urology of Hiroshima University Hosp ital and was confirmed to be free from gonadal dysfunction, endocrine disorder and passage disturbance of the seminal tract. (1) Many patients showed increases in number of spermatozoa, seminal total protein, fructose activity, LDH activity and TAP activity after treatment. (2) No harmful effect was noted on liver functions. (3) Increase serum total protein level was n ot recognizable. | en |
