排尿障害に対する保存的治療について - 特にツムラ八味地黄丸の検討 -

Abstract

Effect of TSUMURA HACHIMIJIOHGAN(TJ•007)on urinary disturbance was evaluated in 56 patients diagnosed to be prostatism, including BPH, BNC, prostatitis and neurogenic bladder. Response was estimated with subjective symptoms and objective findings using urodynamics and ultrasonotomography of prostate. In 32 patients of BPH group, subjective symptom of dysuria and nocturia improved in about half of patients, although decrease in sizc of prostate was not observed ultrasonically in any patients and objective improvement of dysuria was minimal (statistically not significant) in uroflowmetry. It is suggested that improvement of subjective symptoms might be related to possible energysparing effects on micturition. No side effect and abnormal laboratory data were observed in any of these 56 cases studied.
