| 抄録: | Serum ferritin was measured using SPAC Ferritin Kit (Daiichi Radioisotope, Co., Ltd.) in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH: 32 cases), carcinoma of the prostate (26 cases), carcinoma of the bladder (male; 23 cases, female; 5 cases), and carcinoma of the kidney (6 cases). Mean values of serum ferritin were 89.4±50.6 ng/ml in BPH, 247.3±513.3 ng/ml in carcinoma of the prostate, 80.6±72 ng/ml in carcinoma of the bladder of men, 81.0±37.1 ng/ml in that of women and l32.7±37.1 ng/ml in carcinoma of the kidney. It was suggested that serum ferritin could be contributory for following up patients with carcinoma of the kidney. |
