オカヤドカリ類(甲殻類, 異尾類)の和歌山県白浜町番所山付近への出現(2011年5月 - 2012年9月)

Abstract

During the period between May 2011 and September 2012, particularly in June to August, a total of 404 individuals of terrestrial hermit crab appeared at Bansho-yama and its vicinities, Shirahama town, Wakayama Prefecture, Japan. On June 6, 2011, a total of 76 individuals appeared in the morning and evening at the summit of Bansho-yama, 48 individuals in the evening on June 4, and 20 in the evening on May 31, showing totally 43.1% among all((n = 334) in 2011. However, individuals reappeared there are very few. This behaviour ascribed to a mass shifting.

2011年5月-2012年9月にかけて和歌山県白浜町番所山とその周辺区域で404個体のオカヤドカリ類が出現した。6-8月に多くが出現したが, 一度に数十個体が現れたのはわずか2日だけで, 2011年6月6日に番所山山頂(標高30m)で朝夕併せて76個体が出現した．ここには2011年6月4日と5月31日の夕方にもそれぞれ48個体と20個体が出現し, これら3日間だけでその年の全出現数(334個体)の43.1%を占めたが, 再出現した個体数は少なく, 次々と新しいものが現れた。この現象は集団の移動と推察される。
