フンザにおける水質調査

Abstract

生命にとって不可欠の要素である水が, フンザの人々の長寿になんらかの影響を与えているか否かを考察するため, フンザ各地の水質調査を行った. そしてフンザの飲料水になんらかの著しい特徴があるか否かを調査するため, 今回は特に衛生面及ぴ全硬度の点から検索を試みた. その結果, 衛生面では, 細菌による汚染が認められた. 全硬度においてはシムシヤールを除いて, フンザ各地の水は高知の飲料水との間に, 差異を認めなかった.

For the purpse of considering whether water, which is indispensable for life, has any influence on the long life of the people in Hunza or not, water analysis is required.It has been done in this medical expedition in Funza to look into the existence of some speciality in the daily water in Hunza. Especialy from the point of view of the health and total hardness, water quality has been analyzed. As a result it turns out that some kinds of bacteria pollute the water and that in the point of total hardness there is hardly any distinction between the daily water of Kochi and that of Hunza except Shimshal.
