| 抄録: | Chronic mountain sickness (CMS) and high altitude pulmonary hypertension are found in highland people with hypoxemia. Chronic mountain sickness was first recognized with excessive erythrocytosis by Carlos Monge M. (Monge's disease). It is found in all populations who remain at altitude for many years. The incidence is increased with altitude and with age and it is higher in males than females. The association between CMS and lifestyle related diseases are unknown and its studies may contribute for the prevention of CMS. |
