ラダックにおける医学との境界領域研究計画

Abstract

インド, ラダック地方における医学との境界領域研究をどのように進めうるか? 文化班の立場から, その研究視角と調査計画案, そして2008 年度の冬までに把握しえた調査村ドムカル村のいくつかの特徴を記す. また, 実施検討中の医学関連の研究テーマについても言及する. 現象の捉え方を再確認してそれに応じた調査地の選定と研究計画の立案を行っていること, 共同調査においてはまず全世帯・住民を調査してそれを医学班とのデータ共有の起点とすること, 文化班が提起する医学関連研究として人口学的研究も構想していること, などがその要点である.

A brief plan of interdisciplinary studies with medical science which is already on going collaboratively from 2008 is formulated and discussed from a viewpoint of cultural geographer. The collaborative field research has started by carrying out a survey of all households in Domkhar village in lower Ladakh. The database on all households and whole population which is being structured by the surveyed data will be a base for interdisciplinary studies and shared between medical doctors and us, non-medical researchers. Demographic studies are also under consideration with hope to complement research by medical doctors.
