旅行者と研究者とのはざまで : 雲南懇話会中国法制研究会の活動報告

Abstract

Starting in 2008, Yunnan Forum has conducted annual field work on the ethnic minorities of Yunnan Province in China. We, the Japanese counterparts have collaborated in the field research, begun on the initiative of Prof. Yin Shaoting of Yunnan University and his colleagues, and have held a series of meetings to look into the problems and issues relating to Chinese ethnic groups, primarily from the legal point of view. This report is the outcome of twelve meetings held during the past eighteen months. The discussions included, in the first instance, topics such as fundamental issues on the Constitution of the People's Republic of China adopted in 1982, followed by those concerning the Company Law of 1994 and the Civil Law of 2007. Subsequently, our deliberations moved on to national laws and provincial regulations on ethnic minority groups. We have dutifully committed ourselves to the exclusion of matters concerning the sociology of law, owing to the fact that we are mere travelers, not professionals.
