<調査報告・実践報告>東アジアにおける大学院入試の実態と国際的連携教育の可能性

Abstract

中国、韓国、台湾の8 大学及び関係機関を対象に実施した1)大学院入試制度検討、2)入試問題検討、3)アンケート及び聞取り調査の結果に基づき、a)これまであまり公表されていない中国、韓国、台湾の大学院入試制度と実例を紹介し、b)留学生の出身地と日本双方の大学院教育、大学院入試における国際的な連携方法を検討した。本稿の成果としては、第一に中国の修士課程全国統一試験のように、日本の大学院への留学生受入れに際し参考資料になりうる試験が行われていることを指摘し、利用の方法を検討したことが挙げられる。第二には調査対象となった各国・地域において、大学院入試制度や大学院教育についての歴史及び考え方には共通点及び相違点があることを、実例をもって示したことである。そして国際的な連携教育にあたっては、それぞれの社会的文脈における大学院入試制度や大学院教育の位置づけをより一層詳しく理解する必要性を指摘した。

Based on a comparative study of graduate school admission systems in China, Korea and Taiwan, this paper a)describes the present conditions of these graduate school admission systems, and b)investigates the possibility of international cooperation in the East Asian region. We have conducted 1)analyses on graduate school admission systems, 2)evaluations of actual entrance examination questions, and 3)questionnaire and interview surveys of concerned parties in eight universities and related institutions. This paper shows the following: first, that there are local examinations at the graduate level such as a unified entrance examination for Masters' candidates in China, which can be considered as one of the indicators of the academic background of the students in that society. Second, that there are similarities and differences regarding how graduate education has developed in each society. Third, that detailed investigations and understanding of the social contexts of graduate education in each society are needed to promote international cooperation in higher education.
