| 抄録: | The author has worked in Bhutan as the only full time Neonatologist since May 2011. This essay describes the experience of working with the national colleagues and the kind of challenges they faced and how they tackled them. The author is fully committed in improving all aspects of Neonatal Care in Bhutan and disclosed some of the bottlenecks. The author actively involved in tackling Nosocomial Infection and strengthened its control in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, establish High-risk developmental follow up program, Well baby and lactation clinic and Kangaroo Mother Care Unit. The author also actively participated in the Revision of Maternal and Child Health Handbook, National Neonatal Death Investigation Reviews and training of health works in newborn care. |
