竹林の肥培に関する研究 (第III報) : 2-3の竹種に対する施肥時期試験について

Abstract

オカメザサ, ホウライチク, マダケの3竹種について, その生育における最も効果的な施肥の適期をみいだすための試験を行なった｡ 試験はいずれもそれぞれの季節に硫安, 過燐酸石灰, 硫酸加里を施用して実施した｡ その結果, オカメザサとマダケとは, 春期と夏期に, ホウライチクは夏期の施肥が, 新地上茎と新地下茎の発生, 伸長に効果の高いことを認めた｡ この施肥効果の高い時期は, そのおのおのの竹種の発筍ならびに生長期, さらに地下茎伸長期などの生育の盛んな時期と密接な関連があり, 発筍期の大体1~2カ月前から直前にかけてと, 地下茎の伸長初期の2時期に相当することを認めた｡

An attempt was made to find the most effective season of fertilizing on the growth of OKAMEZASA (Shibataea Kumasaka), HORAICHIKU (Leleba multiplex) and MADAKE (Phyllostachys reticulata). Supplied fertilizer was ammonium sulphate, superphosphate of lime and potassium sulphate. The results a shown in Tables 2--7, and Figs. 1--3. The outline is as follows: ---- It was confirmed that the most effective month of fertilizing on the growth of new culms and new rhizomes was April for OKAMEZASA, July for HORAICHIKU and March for MADAKE. These seasons had a close connection with the sprouting season of each bamboo species, that is about one month before sprouting.
