<研究ノート>進路選択研究の統合的理解とその課題―大学でのキャリア支援に向けて―

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the mechanisms and problems associated with students’ career decision making byreviewing career choice studies conducted in Japan, while also attempting to provide practical suggestions for career supportactivities at universities. Three kinds of theoretical and empirical studies were reviewed related to career developmentaltheory, decision-making theory, and social cognitive theory. The aforementioned review revealed that, while there havebeen numerous empirical achievements based on these three theories, none were mutually related, a finding that shouldbe examined in order to enhance future career support services. Other future tasks include: (1) examining the constructvalidity of measurement scales, (2) examining the predictive validity of intervention programs and psychological scales incareer decision studies, and (3) developing curricula based on the relationship between other curricular subjects and careereducation.
