抄録: The dynamic tensile properties of reduced-activation ferritic steel F82H was characterized by high-speed tensile tests over a strain-rate range of 0.01–1400 s−1 at temperatures of 296 and 423 K. As a result, the tensile strength of the F82H steel appears to be sensitive to strain-rate. This is explained by the activation volume of gliding dislocation. The uniform elongation is also sensitive to strain-rate but true fracture strain is considered to be less sensitive. Zerilli–Armstrong bcc model is found adequate to describe the dependence of yield stress of F82H on temperature and strain-rate tested in the present study.
