| 抄録: | The aim of this article is to introduce Newman’s proof of the prime number theorem, which describes the asymptotic distribution of prime numbers. Newman’s proof is non-elementary but the prime number theorem can be proven very shortly and elegantly with few materials from complex analysis. 素数の漸近的分布に関する定理である素数定理の証明をNewmanによる方法を用いて紹介することを目的としている．初等的な証明ではないが複素関数論の利用を最小限にとどめた非常に優れた短い素数定理の証明である． |
