<実践報告>高等教育のイノベーションを担う次世代大学教育人材の育成--東北大学履修証明プログラムの開発と成果--

Abstract

ユニバーサル・アクセス化やグローバル化が進み、学生や社会の多様なニーズへの対応など様々な取り組みや改革が求められる高等教育において、その効果的な教育マネジメントを担うことのできる人材へのニーズが急速に高まっている。現在の教育マネジメントは、執行部だけでなく、機関各層に位置づく多様な人々によって行われているが、いずれにせよ、経験による知識や技能だけでは陸続と生じる教育改革への要請に対応することは困難である。かかる状況に対応できる人材を育成するため、東北大学高度教養教育・学生支援機構(旧東北大学高等教育開発推進センター)では、教育関係共同利用拠点として、組織開発と教職員個人の能力開発の2つを柱に事業を推進してきた。そこでの取り組みの一つである「大学教育人材育成プログラム(EducationalManagement and Leadership Program for Higher Education Innovation：EMLP)」の取り組み、成果、課題について報告する。

As higher education becomes ever more rapidly globalized, it has become increasingly necessary to foster future leaders who will be able to promote effective educational management. This could, for example, be related to meeting the various demands of a diverse student body and a changing society. In light of this, the full spectrum of university staff – whether academic or administrative, or even senior executives – are expected to make a positive commitment to educational management at all institutional levels. It has, however, been difficult to appropriately pursue educational reform by acquiring knowledge and skills based on experience alone. In this article, we analyze the practice, outcomes, and challenges of a new two-year certificate program, entitled "Educational Management and Leadership Program for Higher Education Innovation (EMLP), " which was launched by Tohoku University in 2013.
