dc.description.abstractIn recent years, institutional reform of Articulation between Upper Secondary Schools and Universities is centered on the review of the college entrance examination system. The details of the reform are clearly shown. High school education is essential to realize the smooth Articulation between Upper Secondary Schools and Universities, especially the teaching methods of the high school teachers. However, the current teacher training, recruitment and in-service training is far from being satisfied to meet the demand of the Articulation between Upper Secondary Schools and Universities. Study on the development of the teachers responsible for the Articulation between Upper Secondary Schools and Universities is still far from being enough from the point of view of institutional reform. This paper is intended to review the professional development of teachers in charge of the Articulation between Upper Secondary Schools and Universities. A questionnaire survey about CAP Program is conducted to analyze the features and implementation effect and challenges of CAP teacher training system. The result shows although "Improvement of Practical leadership” and “Improvement of Research Capacity" are expected through the CAP teacher training by CAP teachers, effects of the training are not so obvious. On the other hand, students have very high expectations for CAP teachers. Those CAP teachers' qualifications haven't been improved as greatly as the students had expected. We also find neither the CAP teachers nor the CAP students understand the Articulation between Upper Secondary Schools and Universities fully.en
