| 抄録: | The research project "Human Life, Aging, and Disease in High-Altitude Environments: Physio-Medical, Ecological, and Cultural Adaptation in 'Highland Civilizations'" founded by the Research Institute for Humanity and Nature was initiated in 2008. Domkhar village, located at Ladakh, was a major research site of the project. We have conducted field work in Domkhar during the project, and published "The Village of Domkhar: Ecological Livelihoods and their Changes" in 2015. This book was published as a guidebook for tourists, and so we presented the complete picture of the Domkhar village without using any academic terms. This essay explains the reason we published the guide book of Domkhar. |
