<論説>淅川下寺春秋楚墓考 : 二号墓の被葬者とその時代

Abstract

一九七七年一〇月に河南省南部で発見された淅川下寺春秋楚墓は、春秋中期後半から晩期にかけて造営された楚大夫層の墓群である。その中でも最大規模の二号墓被葬者について、従来「王子午」「[オン]子馮」の二説が提示され、意見の一致を見なかった。また、従来の楚史の研究において、この両者の時代を単独に取り扱う事は皆無であった。そこで本論では墓群の解明を試み、二号墓の被葬者を「[オン]子馮」とし、墓群全体を下寺支配層のものとする。二章ではその結果を踏まえ、[オン]子薦の出身世族である[オン]氏についてその歴史を整理し、[オン]子馮が登場する背崇について探る。そして、旧世族連合政権である彼の政権について述べ、その中で彼が国内政治の建て直しの為、楚型世族より中原型世族への変換を指向し、一環として淅川下寺付近を自邑とすべく行動したとする。結果として、[オン]氏という従来あまり研究されていなかった世族を楚史に位置づける事が出来るであろう。

In October 1977, Chu tombs dating from the mid to late Spring and Autumn Period were discovered in Southern Henan Province. Each tomb consisted of the graves of senior officials. Some controversy exists as to whether Wang-zi Wu 王 子午or Wet-zi Peng 蓬子馮 was buried in tomb number two, the most extensive structure. The author reveals that Wei-zi Peng is buried in the tomb and that the Chu tombs were built by the Xia-si. Thereupon the author explores the background of Wei-zi Peng, who was a member of the aristocratic Wei-shi 蓬氏 clan. Finally, the author analyzes We-zi Peng's regime and the political reforms he enacted, which caused power to shift from an alliance of old Chu aristocrats to one of Zhong-yuan 中原aristocrats, thereby enabling Wei-zi Peng to control the Xia-si Xi-C'huan regions in the process.
