<研究ノート>中国における農業職業教育と技術普及の現状と課題 --日本との比較を通じて--

Abstract

Recently, agricultural vocational education and technology extension have been widely paid attention again in China, because of the frequent occurrence of food safety problems and rapid decline of agricultural international competitiveness. In this paper, we first introduced the modern significance of farmer education and some experiences on the agricultural technology extension in Japan; then, analyzed the historical change and current situation of agricultural vocational education and technology extension in China. From our analysis and comparison with Japan, following facts have been found. 1. Since 1980, although many secondary vocational schools were created in the rural areas of China, they did not give the professional and practical agricultural education, so it can be said that those secondary vocational schools almost did not function as an educational institution of young farm successors. 2. After going around for more than two decades, agricultural technology extension institutions have finally returned to the road of public interest organization and gained full financial support by the government in China. However, because the revenue shortage still remains, there are many problems to be improved, such as the lack of concentration of extension staff on their regular works, lack of cooperation with other extension, research, educational institutions.
