ジャカルタの密集市街地 "都市カンポン" に見る個人／集団による自己組織化に関する研究 : カンポン・アクアリウムの居住者らが抱く「都市認識」へのアプローチを通して

Abstract

本研究はジャカルタのカンポン・アクアリウム (Kampung Akuarium) を対象としては居住者による「個人」が捉えるカンポンの姿から「集団」がつくり上げる空間や秩序と自己組織化との関係を明らかにするものである。このカンポンは2016年4月、州政府によって強制立ち退き・住宅撤去が行われたが、その後居住者復帰と再建の運びとなり今まさに一からカンポンの物理的環境を構築しようとしている。物理的環境の再建に向けて、既に開発されている「都市認識」へアプローチするダイアログ手法を導入し、居住者らが抱く「カンポン」の姿へ迫った。結果12名の居住者「個人」が捉える自地域の姿と成り立ちを明らかにし、その中での価値付けに基づく空間的関与が撤去後に仮設されたシェルターの住環境にも反映され、実現している空間があることを確認した。さらに、撤去により物理的環境が失われても自律的に残っている「集団」がTempat Nyamanの存在や、漁村、密集市街地ならではの空間性を共有していることを明らかにした。以上から「個人」の多様な捉え方と関与の実現を許容しつつ、同時に異なるレベルで「集団」によって自律的に生まれる秩序とその実現が住環境をつくり上げていくというある種の自己組織化が明らかになった。

The purpose of this study is to grasp the mechanism of self-organization in urban kampung: Kampung Akuarium, Jakarta. The eviction in April 2016 caused 500+ families to lose their home in this Kampung. But due to a policy and leadership shift, the government has agreed to rebuild by community action planning. In order to unaderstand “What is Kampung” and plan not only the physical environment but also the entire human environment with all of its tangible and intangible qualities, we made dialogue with inhabitants for approaching to their own Home sphere and Evaluating by an original way of sketch. As a result, we described their Home sphere of own surroundings and Evaluating from individual points of view, and autonomous orders which the community has shared in Kampung Akuarium.
