次世代移動体に求められるエンタテインメント性に関する研究：芸術文化と科学技術との融合について

Abstract

本研究は、筆者らが日産財団の助成で行っている研究の状況をまとめたものである。本研究は、今後の社会において移動体特に車が持つべきエンタテインメント性に関して、文化の観点を視点に入れつつ調査と提言を行おうとするものである。現在は、移動体およびエンタテインメントに関して大きな変換期にある。したがって、単に表面的に現在の動向に目を向けるのではなく、移動体の持つ意味やエンタテインメントの持つ意味の根本に帰って考察を行い、提言を行うことが望ましい。移動体・エンタテインメントはそれらに関連する技術の進展を推進すべき分野であると共に、社会的インパクトの大きさや世界レベルでの問題である事から、優れて文化的な面を持っている研究分野でもある。多文化の側面を考えると、当初から国際的立場から本研究を推進する事が必要である。本研究では、日本に拠点をおく研究者とシンガポールに拠点をおく共同研究者が共同研究を行う事により、将来の移動体が持つべきエンタテインメント性をグローバルな視点から明らかにする。This report is a summary of the status of the research that has been carried out by the authors under the sponsorship of Nissan Foundation. The present study aims at carrymg out investigations and making recommendations regarding to the entertainment aspect that future cars should have by taking the cultural aspect of cars and mobility into consideration. Now we are in a period of big change respect to the mobility and entertainment. Therefore it is desirable that, rather than merely looking to the current trend superficially, we would look back to the root of the meanmg of entertainment and the meanmg of the mobility and based on such investigations would carry out giving recommendations. Entert狙nmentand mobility are important areas from the point of technology development and at the same time are global level issues, as they have strong social impacts and at the same time are strongly connected to cultures. Considering the multi-cultural aspect these topics would have, it is necessary to promote an international research from the beginning. In this research we are going to carry out joint research between a researcher in Japan and a researcher in Singapore. Based on such a collaboration we want to clarify from a global perspective the entertainment feature that future cars should have.
