Abstract: Heterogeneous photocatalysis involves multiple elementary steps at the interphase interface. Although magnetic fields are known to influence photocatalytic reactions, the mechanism is still not clearly understood or agreed-upon. In this short article, the significant roles of oxygen will be discussed, including the involvement of water.
