Abstract

The primary responsibility for our life and health lies with ourselves. We need information and knowledge to take that responsibility. Governmental health department develop various health campaigns to inform citizens and also to reduce costs for public healthcare. Public libraries have understood their role in providing access to information, also in the field of health matters. With their own means and dedication, libraries work in cooperation with partners for a healthy society.
