dc.description.abstractThe NMR spectra of PAN and PAN-ad_1 were measured in NaCNS-D_2O solution and nitromethane-ethylenecarbonate solution. The different spectrum was obtained in both solutions and this may be derived from the difference of the chemical shifts between the geminal protons of isotactic (meso) methylene (γKL). But this behavior cannot be found in the model compounds. In determining the tacticity of PAN, the line width of two methylene resonance and the value of γKL are important factors. The relation between the NMR spectra of PAN and the model compounds is also discussed.en
