作業療法学科学生のパーソナリティと教育に関する研究―クレペリン検査と成績の関連性―

Abstract

This paper examined personality traits of freshmen students as an index of education or guidance. We studied the relationship between the Uchida-Kraepelin Psychodiagnostic Test (UK) and school records of students admitted to the division of occupational therapy in our college of medical technology between 1987 and 1989. The following results were obtained: First, most of the students scored within the 'wholesome' or 'highly wholesome' category on UK. Secondly, the 'general evaluation' was significantly correlated to academic records except for clinical affiliation records. Thirdly, the 'traits of temperament and behaviour' and the 'special traits' were probably a useful index for predicting repeaters or students leaving college before graduation. Fourthly, the students experiencing a setback in clinical affiliation show tendencies toward 'a small capacity for working' and 'losing vigor'. Fifthly, it was suggested that critical problems include premature job selection and an overloaded curriculum.
