dc.description.abstractThis study was designed to explore the effectiveness of experiential learning the understanding of personal relations. This study was conducted from April, 1995 to July, 1996. The subjects were 149 students in the 3rd grade of the College of Medical Technology, Kyoto University. In this each student played a role as a patient with triple handicaps and as a nurse. After playing a role as a nurse, students were asked to report the details how supported the "patients". Data were analyzed with use of Krippendorff's "content analysis". The results of this analysis revealed that students learned the needs that the nurses gave the patients. Thgough this study, students could recognize the importance of active relationship between patients and nurses.en
