抄録: | A distance-learning university class linking Kyoto University with Naruto University of Education has been held for three years since 2003. Students at both universities discuss various self-appointed topics concerning "education, " using online electronic information media. For communication, synchronous and asynchronous interactive media (video chat, bulletin board, chat and video conference systems) were prepared. This is "a class created by students"; the teaching staff suppresses intervention with the students. At the present stage, however, we have no stable model of this flame, in which mutuality of teaching and learning activities progresses, as "learning structure". Our teaching staff attempted to create the learning structures through continuous and periodic support, and appropriate management of difficulties. The purpose of this article is to discuss the process of creating learning structures on the basis of educational practice. The process is classified into two typical categories: 1) continuous and stable structure creation, and 2) non-continuous structure creation through unexpected events. Typical causes are enumerated and discussed from the perspective of labeling arising from intercollegiate-cultural differences, establishment of each student's role in a group and so on. |
