高等教育におけるIT利用実践研究の動向と課題-eラーニングと遠隔教育を中心に-

Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to review the current trend of researches regarding IT utilization in Higher education in Japan. They are classified into four categories and described their features; researches about system development, researches about IT use in classrooms, researches about distance learning and researches about impact of e-learning. Focused of researches regarding development of new systems have been changed from the infrastructure of Internet and Satellites for distance learning to LMS or contents for e-learning. There are many reports regarding IT use in classrooms, however many of them only presented reports about classes and did not clear effectiveness of IT on each practices. And more, seldom researches regarding impacts of e-learning have presented, though there are some reports about new institutions which have started e-learning. Researches regarding the teaching and learning process in e-learning have also just started. The field of e-Learning or distance learning needs various researchers who have various disciplines. It is difficult to communicate each other in different background. However the interaction is needed to contribute to the quality of education.
