京都周辺に発生する微小地震(3)

Abstract

前報では・1963年10月から1965年2月迄の観測Dataを用いて・京都周辺に発生する微小地震の震央, 震源の深さ及びP波初動のPush-Pul1の分布を調べた。この論文では, その後観測された1965年3月から7月迄のDataを加えて上述の分布を調べたが, 前の期間の分布と特に異った様子は見られなかった。但し1964年2月迄のDataは観測点が4点のため震源決定の精度が悪いので除いた。次に阿武山地震観測所の水平動地震計の記録を用いてS波の初動の向きについて調べたところ, 震源に働くForceSystemはDoubleCoupleのTypeと見るのが妥当であることが分った。

The micro-earthquakes ohserved in the period from Mar. in 1964 to Jul. in 1965were examined. The distributions of the epicenter, focal depth and first motion ofP waves do not change their feature shown in the previous papers. In this paper, theearthquakes are g5~ouped into four classes according to their magnitude for examining thedistributions concerning magnitude. However, no tendency is especially found. Accordingto the study of the azimuthal distribution of the initial motion of S waves, it is supposedthat the focal mechanism has the force system of the double couple.
