|Abstract:||A fundamental investigation was planned and made both exprimentally and theoretically toobtain information on moment-curvature relationships of composite members under combinedbending moment and axial force.The cross section (21 cmx 21 cm) adopted for the test specimens was composed of an encasedH-section with nominal reinforcement. The experiments were carried out on four test specimens.As for the theoretical analysis, the moment-curvature-axial force (M-Φ-N) curves were derivedfrom the geometrical relationships of the member cross section and stress-strain relationships of thematerials, steel and concrete.Thus, M-Φ-N curves obtained for the composite members studied turned out to be in goodagreement with the results.|
