| dc.description.abstract | われわれは豪雨或いは集中豪雨と日頃口にするが, それらが具体的にどういうものであるかは知ってはいない。豪雨は大雨とか強雨とどうちがうのか, 豪雨はいつも集中豪雨なのかもしれない, また豪雨の起りやすい場所, 時期というものが本当にあるのかといったような疑問が生じる。そこで豪雨の研究の第一歩として過去の日降水量, 時間降水量, および10分間降水量の極値の分布から調べ始めることにした。そしてわれわれが手がけた比較的最近の豪雨や過去の顕著な豪雨の例をあげて, 豪雨の時間変化と豪雨の地域的な広さ等について調べる。はじめから断りなしに豪雨という言葉を使うけれども, この言葉の定義はむしろ今後の研究の結論として導かれるものである。 | ja |
