琵琶湖南湖の湖流と拡散に関する数値シミュレーション

Abstract

This study deals with the flow and the dispersive characteristics of two-dimensional flows in thesouthern part of Lake Biwa by means of the numerical simulation technique. The simulationmodels for advection, circulation, seiche and dispersion are developed in multi-level staggereddifference schemes. The prevailing seiche of 4 hours period is evidently simulated. The circu-lation shows very interesting results in response to the wind directions. The results obtained aregood realization of actual behaviours at least in terms of qualitative aspect. It is also evidencedthat scattering, diffusion and effluence of injected materials are extremely influenced by the partic-ular flow pattern produced mainly by the wind directions.
