| dc.description.abstract | At the Miyazaki Crustal Movement Observatory, continuous observation of ground strainsand tilts has been carried out since Nov. 1976. Secular variations free from seasonal variationand shorter period disturbances mainly due to rainfalls of observed strains and tilts areinvestigated with 365 days running mean procedure. Strain rates are very uniform in timeand principal strains are extension in N-S and contraction in E-W direction. Tilt direc-tion observed with watertube tiltmeters and that with horizontal pendulum tiltmeters areinconsistent but changes of tilt rate keep consistency.At the Makimine Observatory, secular change rate tendencies of both strain and tilt arealso inconsistent with results at Miyazaki.Seismic activities within 100km from the Miyazaki Observatory are also described. | en |
