大戸川における1982年8月洪水について

Abstract

We investigate the damages of river and road, the flood runoff, the alluvial roughness charac-teristics, the bank erosion, and the water turbidity on the flood of August 1 to 3, 1982 in DaidoRiver, which has the largest flow discharge since the flood of September in 1953.The calculated hydrograph by the tanks model shows the considerably lower peak dischargein comparison with the observed one. In connection with this fact, the alluvial roughness at twoflow gage stations have been evaluated on the basis of the resistance formulae for the rigid andthe movable bed condition.The locations of bank erosion in the downstream reach are mostly correspond to the flow con-centration points due to stream meandering except the confluences side with the small branchingstreams. The water turbidity through the flood shows rather lower values than those of theprevious floods and the estimated ones.
