| 抄録: | In order to detect ground tilts associated with subduction of the Philippine Sea plate, two components of water-tube tiltmeters (E-W= 47.5 m, N-S=51.6 m) were installed in Sep-tember 1985 at the Muroto-misaki meteorological station, JMA.Detectors of water level were designed to operate over a wide dynamic range (0-+-7.5mm), and set only thirty centimeters beneath the ground surface. A low-pass filter with acut-off frequency of 0.001 Hz was introduced to diminish short-period oscillations of waterlevel.Signals of the water levels of the four detectors and other meteorological data are storedon RAM in a data logger and then accessed from the Disaster Prevention Research Instituteby telephone calls. |
