| dc.description.abstract | Observations of groundwater level have been carried out since December 1976 at Osakayamatunnel in order to investigate relations between groundwater level changes and strain changes andearthquake occurrence.Results obtained till now are as follows.Semidiurnal fluctuations of groundwater level due to earth tide have been observed and fromFourier analysis amplitude of M2 component is about 0.1 cm.It has been confirmed that annual fluctuations of strain are due to fluctuations of groundwaterlevel caused by seasonal variations of precipitation.Coseismic changes of groundwater level related to earthquakes have been recorded but ano-malous changes of groundwater level obviously related earthquake occurrence are not found. | en |
