インドネシアの災害復旧住宅 - バリ島・フローレス島を事例として -

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to survey the houses constructed for the victims of natural disasters in Indonesia.The type of houses and the life developed in them have been surveyed in detail for the housing project in Bali, after the 1976 earthquake and the one in Flores, after the 1992 tsunami.These two housing projects were carried out by quite different ways.The houses in Bali were built by self-help, which were quite successful and are still used.On the other hand, the houses in Flores were provided by mass housing system, which have brought about problems of vacancies and needs of renovation.They have not taken traditional life style of the dwellers, Bugines, into account.When we cooperate housing project in developing countries, it is indispensable to consider both cultulal and environmental climate of paticular district even for restoration houseing after natural disasters.
