笑いにおける受動的な関与についての心理学的考察 : 天岩戸神話における笑いの検討を通して

Abstract

This paper examines how we psychologically understand and commit to laughter of which attribution is intrinsically differentiated with that of human. Examination of laughter in the Japanese myth Amano-Iwato suggested that laughter comes from the darkness that shows itself by the momentum of the absence of Amaterasu (Sun-Goddess), and this laughter makes the darkness perceptible. In the darkness, i.e., in the absence of Amaterasu, gods set the scene where the laughter arises. Or, there is a commitment to a genesis of laughter as perceptible darkness through exhaustively passive commitment to the intrusion of darkness. Then, there arises the activity of the darkness. So, when Amaterasu hears the sounds of laughter, she can experience the encounter with activity of the darkness. The darkness will then vanish and be internalized into Amaterasu and her heaven. With such perspective that view the attribution of laughter in the context of invisible and unsubstantiated darkness, we can see the possibility of our commitment to the genesis and vanishment of laughter regardless that various causes.
