小児気管支喘息児の母親に対するカウンセリングについて -その必要性と期待される有用性の観点から-

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine the necessity and usefulness of psychological counseling by a clinical psychologist for mothers of children with asthma. The target population consisted of 90 mothers of children from 1 to 15 years old that had been diagnosed with asthma in the specialized outpatient clinic for allergies in the Kinki area of western Japan. A questionnaire was distributed to the mothers by the author. Seventy-two mothers (96%) recognized the need for counseling by a psychologist. In addition, 49 mothers (65%) hoped to use such counseling. In addition, the mothers to consult with the psychologist about "the fear of environmental factors such as the turn of the season." That is, the psychologists were requested to provide counseling and provide information on counseling for the mother and families of children with asthma. In addition, the psychologists together create an environment that allows medical personnel to work in close cooperation with each other.
