抄録: In the fourteenth Central Education Council, an educational reform of highschool education was discussed in order to realize a curriculum to adapt to the new era. They proposed that it should be important to have a wide range of electives for students to choose from and to create a course in which liberal and professional curriculums are combined. Accordingly, the Integrated Course was launched. In this research, I studied the achievements and problems of integrated courses through questionnaires and interviews with boards of education and high-schools with integrated courses. This paper argues the validity of reorganization of courses in high-school educational reform, and illustrates the vision toward the implementation of the school reform in the secondary education.
