室内画の基礎的研究 --Big Fiveモデルとの関連から--

Abstract

本研究ではパーソナリティ特性を測定する尺度の1つであるBig Five尺度を用いて, 家屋画・室内画とBig Fiveの各下位尺度との関連を明らかにすることを試みた。103名の大学生を対象に集団法で調査を行い, Big Fiveの各5因子が描画の分析指標に及ぼす影響について, ロジスティック回帰分析を行い検討した。その結果, 室内画を評価する観点に関して, 先行研究で演繹的に主張されてきた"室内空間の構成方法"だけではなく, 室内空間の持つ全体的な印象や空間自体の性質, 空間のイメージも同様に室内画表現を理解する上で重要な意味を持つことがデータから示唆された。今後の課題としては, 室内空間を描くという描き手の体験を重視しながら室内画の個別性を検討することで, 室内画という描画の本質により接近することができるのではないかということが考えられた。

This study was performed to examine the relationship between the Room Drawing Test and each subscale of the Big Five Scale, which is a measure of personality characteristics. We conducted a survey of 103 college students using the collective method, and the influences of the Big Five on analytical indicators of drawing were examined by logistic regression analysis. Evaluation of the Room Drawing Test examined "how to construct indoor space, " which was deductively claimed in previous research, as well as the overall impression of the indoor space, the nature of the space itself, and the image of the space. Further, the data suggested that this is important for understanding indoor picture representation. Future studies could involve considering the individuality of indoor paintings while emphasizing the experience of the painter drawing the indoor space, with the goal of exploring the essence of indoor paintings.
