慢性の病いを抱えて生きるひとの羨望に目を向け, かかわる意味

Abstract

慢性の病いを抱えて生きるひとと人生をかけてかかわる我々心理臨床家は, よりよい支援を行うために羨望にも目を向けてかかわる必要がある。生物学的な側面, 心理学的な側面, 社会的な側面から羨望を再考してみると, 生物学的な側面での羨望は疾患の種類と程度によって分類される。心理学的な側面は, パーソナリティの問題と生得的な発達の偏りの濃淡, 病いの受容度が多分に影響していることが推察できる。社会的な側面からみると, その患者自身の経済状況, 社会的な立場・地位, 支援をしてくれるひとの質や種類が影響している。支援者は, 目の前にいる病いを抱えて生きるひとが「いま」どのようなところに存在するかを把握し, かかわることが有効である。様々な種類の身体の病いを抱えて生きるひとの生活を通して, 支援の在り方を考察した。

Psychological clinicians should turn our attention to the topic of envy to provide better support for people living with chronic illness. The biological aspect of envy is classified based on disease type and severity. The psychological aspect can be inferred to be greatly affected by personality problems, shades of bias in innate development, and the acceptance of illness. The social aspect is affected by the patient's own financial situation, social standing and position, the different types of people providing support, and the quality of people providing support. It is effective if supporters become involved once they have ascertained what kind of place the person in front of them, living with illness, is in right "now." We discuss ways of supporting people living with various types of physical illnesses through the lives of such people.
